AppleCare and Warranty Information
All new Apple hardware products carry a one-year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. You can view a complete copy of the Apple Limited Warranty online.
At Strong Solutions, all repairs are performed by Apple-certified technicians using genuine Apple parts. Most repairs take one to two business days to complete.
Get 3 years of protection with AppleCare for your Mac
The AppleCare Protection Plan extends the coverage on your Mac® to three years, accounting for any repairs done on your computer. This covers the computer itself, as well as an AirPort Card, and the AirPort Express that’s been purchased for your Mac. Mac Pro® and MacBook Pro® customers may also be covered for one Apple display, provided that the Mac and display were purchased together.
Free annual check-ups when you buy a Mac with AppleCare from Strong Solutions
When you buy a Mac with AppleCare from Strong Solutions, you can bring your Mac in once a year for free diagnostic. This preventative maintenance ensures your Mac runs smoothly for years and allows us to catch any issues before they become problems.
AppleCare+ for iPad
AppleCare+ for iPad® extends your coverage to two years of Apple-authorized repairs and telephone technical support, and adds accidental damage protection for your iPad (coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling; each incident is subject to a $49 service fee plus applicable tax).
AppleCare+ for iPhone (Coming Soon)
AppleCare+ for iPhone® extends your coverage to two years of Apple-authorized repairs and telephone technical support, and adds accidental damage protection for your iPhone (coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling; each incident is subject to a $79 service fee plus applicable tax).
AppleCare Phone Support
AppleCare Phone Support is available for 90-days (complimentary) or 3 years from date of purchase with an AppleCare Protection Plan. AppleCare Phone support can assist you with technical issues with your Mac, iPad or iPhone along with software issues regarding OS X, iPhoto, Photos, iMovie, Garageband, Pages, Numbers & Keynote.

Also available for the iPod touch, iPod and iPod nano
Purchasing iPod® AppleCare extends the warranty from one year to two years full coverage. It also extends phone support from one free phone call to two years of unlimited phone support. In-warranty iPod repairs are not performed at MacSolutions Plus, but sent off to an Apple repair depot center.
StrongCare Shield Accidental Damage Warranty
Do you want even more protection for your new Mac, iPad® or iPod? Now you can get a StrongCare Shield accidental damage warranty from Strong Solutions. StrongCare Shield covers cracked screens, liquid damage and more, and runs for 3 years from your purchase date. Plus, you have up to 30 days after your purchase to add a Diamond Service warranty (pending an inspection). Please contact us for details.
Getting service under warranty or AppleCare
AppleCare is attached to the serial number of your machine. In the event that we are unable to determine your AppleCare coverage status, we will need proof of your warranty (a copy of the receipt from when you purchased the equipment). If your machine is less than a year old, it’s covered under Apple’s Limited Warranty. If you’ve purchased AppleCare for your computer, you’ll be asked for your AppleCare Agreement number. Do I need to make an Appointment?
No, there is no need to make an appointment. Please stop by any time during normal business hours. After hours drop off and pick up can be arranged.
How do I get my Mac fixed?
Please take a moment to review our take-in process to make sure your service is as timely as possible.
- Strong Solutions does not charge for any service covered by your AppleCare warranty.
- Strong Solutions has a flat rate for our repairs and services. Please check the Rates page for current pricing.
- For computers brought in outside of their warranty period, we require a pre-payment of our diagnostic fee which covers our time spent in diagnoses, our collective years of experience, and operating expenses.
- In most cases, we ask you to leave only your computer. Unless you think an accessory is related to the problem, your cases, cables, and adapters are best kept in your possession.
- We will diagnose the computer shortly after drop off, and will contact you via phone or email.
- Once we have diagnosed issue, we will contact you with a quote detailing any expected charges not covered by AppleCare.
